State of the Worlds Birds

State of the Worlds Birds 2022; BirdLife International

Birdlife International recently released its updated report on the State of the Worlds Birds. Why is this important to know? Birds inhabit nearly every corner of the globe and are widely studied. They also are our early warning system. When there are environmental problems, birds let us know the effects early on. And for many decades, birds have been telling us we need to make changes if we are to keep any sort of biodiversity and quality of life on our planet. Read the report summary that shows what’s happening with birds, what the main drivers are for declines, and see some of the creative solutions BirdLife’s 119 partners are putting into action. This is fascinating reading which offers an insight into what’s happening to birds and biodiversity and what is being done on their behalf around the world.
