Bobcat Kitten
Lynx rufus

Wallpaper Description

When this little bobcat grows up, he will hunt alone from dusk to dawn. Every night he will travel between two and seven miles in search of food, eating a variety of small animals, from rodents to birds to reptiles, and will stalk his prey using his excellent senses of hearing, sight and smell. As humans have developed land for our own use, we have moved into bobcat territory and in some areas of the country bobcats are in decline. They are extremely secretive, so even if a bobcat is living close by you may never see it.
