Baby Elephant Charging
Loxodonta africana
price: $1.99

Wallpaper Description
This baby African elephant weighed about 265 pounds at birth and will weigh about 6 tons when he is full grown. He will be taken care of by his extended family herd of female elephants for many years. When he is a teenager, he will leave his herd and roam alone or with some other males in small "bachelor herds" for most of his 70 years. The ivory market has had a huge impact on the numbers of elephants in the wild, cutting their numbers in half. Ivory is beautiful, but it looks better on its original owner! So one of the best ways to help elephants is not to buy ivory.
