Eclectus roratus

Male Eclectus are bright green and females are red and blue. In the wild, they're very strong fliers and fly over the jungle canopy looking for fruits and nuts. Like most parrots, they are highly intelligent and extremely curious. If you do decide to get one as a pet, make sure he or she was bred in captivity. Your bird will be more gentle and you will feel better knowing the wild ones are still... wild.
