It's hard to believe that any cat with a stare like this could disappear. But in tall grass, the stripes are a great camouflage and keep the tiger hidden so they can surprise their prey. Even at 600 pounds, this tiger might only be successful in 1 out of 20 kills. Tigers are an endangered species with only several thousand of them left in the wild.
